Dolores Harris, 88, of Kerrville, passed away on March 12, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Galveston, TX to Ellen and Michael Dwyer on August 12, 1927. She married James McCormick on March 4, 1950, in Washington, DC. They had four children. She married Ken Harris on August 20, 2006, in San Antonio, TX.\r\n\r\nDolores worked for many years at Southwestern Controls, in Houston, before retiring and moving to Kerrville in 1998. She volunteered at Dietert Senior Center for some years.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Harris, son Gary McCormick, grandson Ryan Sensabaugh, and many sisters and brothers. \r\n\r\nDolores is survived by son James McCormick of CT, daughters Diane (Stan) Payne of Bandera, and Patricia (James) Hesidence of San Antonio, a sister, Frances Johnston of Crockett, four grandchildren: Jessica Nolan and Ned McCormick of CT, Laura Lopez and Rachel Hallford of Bandera, and 9 great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nServices will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera with Pastor Dave Bass officiating.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to the Alzheimers Association (ALZ.org).
