David Vinyard

David Fort Vinyard, 65 years old, of Kerrville, Texas entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 13, 2018.\r\n\r\nA fifth-generation Texan, David was born in Tulia, Texas to Jo and Wren Vinyard on January 15, 1953. He was the fourth of five children; two brothers and two sisters. Growing up in west Texas instilled a strong sense of family and a work ethic that would last a lifetime.\r\n\r\nHe married Kathy Beth LaHue on November 20, 1982 in Irving, Texas. During his professional years he worked for several large advertising agencies, including The Richards Group and Crume and Associates in Dallas. Just prior to leaving Dallas, Kathy and David started Briscoe Hall advertising agency and subsequently moved to Kerrville, making it their home in 1994. The last few years David has been the marketing director for Cecil Atkission Auto Group.\r\n\r\nHe was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, eloquent speech, and love for and teaching of God's Word at Kerrville Bible Church. His love for his family, passion for serving others, and life lived with integrity impacted many. \r\n\r\nDavid was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his wife Kathy, whom he cherished and who honored him with her tender care; son Josh and wife Laurie; daughter Elizabeth and husband Michael; grandchildren Sarah, Hudson, Tucker, and Willis. He is also survived by siblings: Charla and Paul Vinyard, Diane Brown, Mary and James Smith, and Faye and Joe Vinyard along with many loving nieces and nephews will who miss him terribly. \r\n\r\nServices will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Kerrville Bible Church.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kerrville Bible Church or a ministry of your choice.\r\n\r\n
