David A. (Buddy) Rohrbach, 91 of Bandera, passed away on Sept 30th in Bandera. He was born in D'Hanis, Tx. to Alfred and Laura Rohrbach on July 18, 1929. He married Mickey Rohrbach on Nov. 21st, 1977 in San Antonio. Tx.\r\nBuddy went to school in Hondo, Tx. He retired from Pearl Brewery in San Antonio after 42 years. He was a member of the St Stanislaus Catholic Church. Buddy was an amazing husband, great father and a loving grandfather. Over the years he raised a few cows, was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed watching sports. He accompanied Mickey to many rodeos and barrel races to watch her compete and they loved to go dancing to some good old western swing in local dancehalls. Many friends commented over the years how they loved to watch Buddy and Mickey dance across the floors.\r\nBuddy is preceded in death by his father Alfred Rohrbach, his sister Kathaleen Mitchell and his mother Laura Rohrbach. \r\nBuddy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mickey Rohrbach, his son David Rohrbach and wife Irma, daughter Patti Doyle Lee and her husband Ricky Joe, grandchildren Rani Reynolds, Kayla Shearhart and her husband Brent and Evan Rohrbach.\r\nA Celebration of Life will be at 6:00pm Thursday Oct. 8th at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera. The following day a Rosary will be held at 10:00am at the St Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Bandera Cemetery.\r\n
