Darrell Dean Jr.

Darrell Ray Dean Jr., 36 of Kerrville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2016 at Peterson Regional Medical Center.\r\n \r\nHe was born on October 4, 1979 in Kerrville, Texas to Betty May Robertson and Darrell Ray Dean Sr. \r\n \r\nSurvivors include his daughter, Haylie Lynn Dean and son, Blake Austin Dean; father, Darrell Ray Dean Sr. of Ingram, Texas; grandparents, Louis and Betty Goodman of Graham, Texas; brother, Jason Robertson and wife Erica of Cleburne, Texas; and sister, Crystal Kimmey and husband Kyle of Osage, Iowa. He had 4 nieces, Grace, Faith, Maylee and Kenslea; 4 nephews, Matthew, Jeremiah, Preston and Brayden; also many aunts, uncles and lots of cousins with one special cousin that was like a sister to him, Michelle Purcell of Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his mother, Betty May Robertson; brother, Kenneth Ray Dean and grandmother, Sybil Dean.\r\n \r\nDarrell loved his children with all he had. He was very proud of his son and daughter. He enjoyed football and especially the Texas Longhorns and Michelle says lets not forget about those Cowboys. He liked to coach little league football and basketball. He loved the Lord and had started a bible study Firehouse Mission at the Edgewater Nursing Home. Family was very important to Darrell; he loved them all very much. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 5-7 PM, Friday, April 8, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held 10 AM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Pastor Mark Green of New Heights Church. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Steven Goodman, Rand Ramsey, Mark Walker, Vincent Martin, Terry Taylor and Jose Sandoval.\r\n \r\nIf you would like to donate to the memorial fund, contact Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n
