Life may have slipped from Darlene "Dar" Conoly on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Bandera, Texas, but her zest for living carries on through a host of friends and family. She was 86.\r\n\r\n"Dar" was born February 5, 1932 in Glendale, California to Dee and Rosa Crowell. She grew up in Bandera and lived in many places after she married, but always claimed the Dixie Dude Ranch as home. There were a number of friends in Bandera that she played "pitch" with.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and her sons Cody Blair Austin and Patrick Crowell Conoly. Survivors include her daughter "Bitsy" Neuser and husband Robert; son Clay Conoly and wife Diane; grandchildren Alec and Sharp Conoly and Marisa (Max) Petitt and Clayre (John) Lange as well as many treasured friends.\r\n\r\nA memorial service will be held at St. Philip's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in Beeville, Texas at 1:30 P.M.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Philip's Episcopal School and Church, 311 East Corpus Christi Street, Beeville, Texas 78102.
