Daisy Gene Walling, 83, of Bandera, TX, passed away on April 21, 2016 in Bandera. \r\n \r\nShe was born in Vicksburg, MS, to Berthram Coffing and Mary Josephine McCarthy on December 31, 1932. She Worked as a nurse for 34 years.\r\n\r\nDaisy is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bishop of Kerrville, TX.; son, Sonny Walling and wife Trudy of Sherrodsville, OH.; brothers, Levi Rodgers Coffing of Tallish, LA., Johnny Evans of Thibodaux, LA., George Evans of Kiln, MS.; grandchildren, Jeff Walling, Josh Walling, Tasha Sims, Matt Walling, Charles Canales, Krystal Canales- Trejo, Cole Trejo and Brady Canales; great- grandchildren, Kinley Trejo, Rae-Lynn Sims, Laura Walling, Cheyenne Walling and Dalton Walling; great-great-grandchild, Branson Dobbs.\r\n\r\nDaisy's service will be held 5:00 PM, Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 550 Oak Ridge Dr., Bandera Texas 78003, a celebration of her life with family and friends will follow. \r\n\r\nDaisy's family wishes to extend their thanks to the doctors and nurses with Alamo Hospice and the staff at Cedar Creek, also a special thanks to Michelle, Tina, Toni, Crystal and Vicki \r\n\r\n
