Concha Valdez, age 99, a life-long resident of Kerrville, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in a local care center. She was born in Gillespie County to Edward and Maria Valdez. \r\n \r\nConcha enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and had a lot of love for her family and others. She will be missed by all.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include sons, Pablo Rosales (Young) of Kerrville and Willie Silvas (Joan) of Idaho; grandchildren, Young Kim Cervantez, Jimmy Silvas, Mona Silvas, Mark Silvas and Willie Silvas Jr.; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Impact Christian Fellowship officiated by Franklin Williamson.\r\n
