Claris Lybarger

Claris Wayne Lybarger, 85, of Kerrville, passed away on January 12, 2016 in Kerrville. He was born in Arcadia, Nebraska on October 20, 1930 to Ralph and Merle Lybarger. He married Shirley Gates on July 29, 1951 in Arcadia, Nebraska.\r\n \r\nHe attended school in Scotia and Arcadia, Nebraska. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving 25 years. After retirement from the Navy, he was employed in a federal civil service position and retired at age 62.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Merle Lybarger; and his daughter, Carla Lybarger.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Shirley; his son, David; his daughters, Stephanie Rutledge and Denise Stitt; his brothers, Alvin and Max; and his sister, Donna Nagel. He also leaves five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nA memorial service will be at a later date in Arcadia, Nebraska.\r\n
