Clara Moore

Mrs. Clara Lorene ("Clarene") Moore, 67 years old of Pleasanton Texas, passed away on June 21, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Atascosa County to Echols and Lorene Scales on December 28, 1948. She married Wesley Ray Moore on May 9, 1970 in Pleasanton, Texas and they adopted their son Matthew on December 5, 1983. \r\n\r\nShe graduated from Pleasanton High School and worked as daycare teacher for 20 years. Clarene enjoyed collecting dolls and loved to drink diet coke. \r\n\r\nClarene Moore is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Ray Moore, her parents Echols and Lorene Scales, her sister Elva Hubka and husband Bill, her brothers Jim Scales and Eugene Scales, and father-in-law Karl Moore.\r\n\r\nClarene Moore is survived by her son, Matthew Moore and wife, Courtney; nephews, John Hubka and wife, Sonya Mello, Wayne Hubka and wife Eileen, Buddy Scales and wife, Nicki, Ricky Scales and wife, Crystal, Pat Barton and wife, Patty; niece, Gena Scales; cousin, Laverne Kidd; sister-in-law, Juanita Scales; mother-in- law, Bettye Jeane Moore; sister-in-law, Sue Green and husband, Glen; brother-in-law, Jim Moore and wife, Helen; brother-in-law, Steven Moore and wife, Betty, and by numerous other family and friends. \r\n\r\nVisitation will be held on June 26, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on June 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Home with Brother Bill Kroeger officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Matthew Moore, John Hubka, Wayne Hubka, Steven Moore, Glen Green and Jesse Deimel. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jim Moore.\r\n
