Christopher Langdon Stone, 59, of Ingram passed away in his home on July 21, 2015 surrounded by his family and friends. Christopher was born in Manhasset, New York December 25th, 1955 to Rex L. Stone and Nancy-Alice Salisbury. \r\n \r\nHe graduated from Tivy High School in 1975 and received a BA in history from Sul-Ross University. \r\n \r\nHe married Pidgie Byrd in 1977. \r\n \r\nFrom 1977-2004, he was active in the local Lion Club Chapters. Christopher was very active at St. Peter's Episcopal Church including Acolyte Master, Lay Eucharistic Minister, and EFM Mentor. For many years he was active in the Girl Scouts as troop leader and camp cook at Camp Mira Sol. He was involved with special education for 20 years. \r\n \r\nChris is survived by his wife, Pidgie Stone; daughters, Sarah Stone of Boerne and Rachel Boland and husband, Nicholas of Kerrville; grandson, Langdon Boland; brothers-in-law, Donald Byrd and Philip Allen of San Antonio; step-mother, Margaret Stone of Stittsville, Ontario; mother, Nancy-Alice Salisbury of Sanford, Maine; siblings, Nelson and Marilyn Stone, Betsy-Jane Reilly, Nancy-Alice and David Whitney, and Robin Stone; and 13 nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nFuneral Services will be held 2 pm Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Kerrville, officiated by The Reverends Stockton Williams and Tom Murray III. \r\n \r\nThe family requests memorials be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Day School and Playhouse 2000.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
