Charlotte Rutherford

Charlotte Jane Rutherford, age 85 of Lubbock, formerly of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 12, 1929 in Dublin, TX to William Carl Sturdivant and Dora Elizabeth (Snead) Sturdivant. \r\n \r\nShe volunteered over 1000 hours at the Kerrville VA Hospital. She loved Sunrise Baptist Church, loved to travel and will be greatly missed by her family.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include daughter, Merle Fulton of Lubbock; sisters, Margarete White and Phylis Williamson, both of Dallas; grandchildren, Elizabeth Moody of Lubbock, John Moody of Abilene, Larry Woolverton of Stonewall and Tim Fulton of Lubbock; and 8 great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by children, Peggy Galbraith and Larry Rutherford.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be from 4-8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1114 30th Street in Lubbock on Thursday, January 15, 2015.\r\n \r\nMass will be held Friday, January 16, 2015, 10 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lubbock with Father Joseph Noonan as celebrant. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be made to the Corpus Christi Catholic Church. \r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
