Charles Barry Ramsey

Charles Barry Ramsey, 87 years, former resident of Pipe Creek, TX, passed away on January 8, 2024, in Boerne, TX. He was born in Shawnee, OK to Merritt Wales and Gladys Lucile on March 12, 1936. He married Anita on July 14, 1956, whom he met while stationed in Germany and while serving in the US Army. He was a proud veteran.

 “Barry” worked with Allstate Insurance Company in San Antonio in various roles. His favorite was claims, retiring after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anita; son, Dale of Bandera; parents Merritt and Lucile; brother Robert; and son-in-law, Tom Bishop of Austin.

He is survived by his daughters Dee Ann Bishop of Austin, Janet Kolmeier and husband, Ed of San Antonio; grandchildren Jennifer Bradford, Garrett Ramsey (Alexa), Logan Ramsey (Crystal), Lauren Breuel (Jay) and Nicole Kolmeier. He had (7) great grandchildren.

 Cremation is being arranged by Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel. At this time, no service is being arranged.
