Charles 'Chuck' Price - 66 of Pflugerville, TX, joined his Lord and Savior on March 31st, 2017. Chuck was born in Rockford, IL on June 1, 1950 to Charles and Virginia Price. The family spent time in Newfoundland and other areas but settled in Austin, TX. Chuck lived in Tulsa, Houston, and Dallas, but always considered Austin home. He wasn't born a native Texan but he loved Texas more than any other.\r\n \r\nChuck found his passion for petroleum engineering and graduated in 1972 from The University of Texas at Austin and was a Lifetime Member of the Texas Exes. He engineered thousands of completions on oil and gas rigs across Texas during the span of his 45 year career. Chuck was a pioneer in the field of oil and gas exploration and drilling and was considered an icon in the industry. Chuck lived a life of adventure. Be it motorcycle rides or scuba diving in Cozumel, he made sure he lived life to the fullest.\r\n\r\nChuck is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Price, and second wife, Lynne Price. Chuck is survived by his children, daughter Korin Matthijetz and husband Aaron of Lexington, son Charles 'Seph' Price and Tabatha Holland of Pflugerville, daughter Megan Thom and husband Berry of Round Rock, daughter Jenna Price of Pflugerville, and daughter Kristen Berka of Rockwall. Chuck is also survived by his sister Christy Crocker of Austin, and Judith Price of Pflugerville, first wife and mother of their four children. Chuck has 6 grandchildren that loved their "Pricey" very much.\r\n\r\nMemorial service will be held April 5th, 2017 at the Blackhawk Amenity Center 3111 Speidel Dr. Pflugerville, TX at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in his name to We Are Blood, 4300 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, Tx. 78756, Attn: Shaina Novotny. \r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank the staff at Accolade Hospice, St. David's Georgetown Hospital and MD Anderson for the care, support, and love that they showed Chuck.\r\n\r\nThe Eyes of Texas are upon you.....
