Charles Davis Grant, 80, of Boerne, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Hillsboro, Texas to Perry D. and Neva G. Grant on February 6, 1940. He married Patricia V. Schock on November 26, 1959 in Pasadena, Texas.\r\n\r\nCharles went to school in Deer Park, Texas and worked as an electrical superintendent for Arco Chemical for 28 years. He was involved with the Knights of Columbus and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\nCharles is preceded in death by his parents Perry and Neva Grant, younger brother Jimmy Grant and sister Nelda Reynolds Davis.\r\n\r\nCharles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Grant; sons, Charles Jr. and wife Tressie Grant, Scott and wife Kathy Grant, Mike and wife Jeanie Grant; grandchildren, Steve and Pascha Keller, Kendel Grant, Cory Grant, Tyler Grant, Elizabeth and Matt Jaco, Meredith Grant, Travis Grant; great grandson, Charlie Jaco; brothers, Kenneth and wife Peggy Grant, Warren and wife Iva Grant, Don and wife Iva Grant and Jerry and wife Linda Grant, as well as many nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nDue to limited seating and restrictions at the church caused by COVID, the family is hosting a visitation on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 5-7pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels located at 1214 Mulberry, Bandera, Texas 78003.\r\n\r\nA Rosary followed by a Memorial service will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at 311 7th St., Bandera, Texas 78003.
