Charles David Craft, 77, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on March 25, 2017. He was an incredibly loving husband and father and will be missed keenly.\r\n \r\nCharles was born in Fairfield, Alabama to Charles William and Vela Craft on April 12th, 1939. He grew up in Jennings, Louisiana and graduated from Jennings High School in 1957. In 1960, Charles married Dana Loftin and celebrated 56 years of marriage in 2016. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1962. He began his career with the Soil Conservation Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1964 retiring as the State Administrative Officer for the Department of Natural Resource Conservation Service, U.S.D.A. in Casper, Wyoming in 1996.\r\n \r\nIn 1997 Charles and Dana moved to Kerrville to be with family and enjoy retirement. Charles was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan through "thick and thin" and greatly enjoyed both college football and baseball. Charles never missed his daughters' birthdays, school or sporting events. In later years he enjoyed travel with his wife and family.\r\n \r\nCharles is survived by wife Dana, daughter Robin and friend Rob of Sacramento, CA, daughter Andi and son in law Dan of Lingle, Wyoming and three grandchildren, Clara, Becky and Alex.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels on March 30th, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.\r\n \r\nA graveside service will be held at Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville, Texas on March 31st, 2017 at 11:00am.\r\n
