Charles Berry Berger, 71, of Bandera Texas passed away on April 25, 2015. He was born in Odessa Texas to Irvin Charles Berger and Lorain Robbins Berger on May 7, 1943. He graduated from Odessa Permian High School. \r\n \r\nHe was married to Pamela Kay Berger on July 21, 1970 in Odessa Texas. They were married for 44 years until her death in 2014. He was a dedicated husband and father. His interests included hunting, fishing, cars, and boats. He always made sure to include his family in his activities. He was also an avid reader.\r\n \r\nHe worked numerous jobs throughout his life, but was primarily an auto mechanic. He took his first paid mechanic's job at the age of 14. During his career he fixed everything from lawn mowers to heavy equipment. He sold his shop in McCamey and retired to Bandera 2000.\r\n\r\nCharles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pamela; sister, Sharon Martin. He is survived by his children, Paul Lee of Iraan, Brandy and Jason Clark of Pipe Creek, Christopher and Patsy Berger of McCamey, And Cary Berger of Bandera; grandchildren, Margarita Berger of McCamey and Jake and Chad Clark of Pipe Creek.\r\n\r\nA private memorial for the family will be held at a later date.
