CECILIA (Ceil) T. ANDREWS (nee KULKA)\r\n \r\nCeil was 37,182 days old: that's 101yrs., 9 mo., 19 days. She passed away peacefully in Kerrville, Texas with her daughter, Elaine, son-in-law, Wilmer and Bounce, the family dog, at her side. \r\n \r\nBorn in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov. 3, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Helen and Stephen Kulka; loving wife of the late Joseph G. Andrews (Ondrejka); devoted mother of Elaine Andrews Carroll (Wilmer); dear sister of the late Sophie K. Reidy (Kulka), and the late Helen and Mary Kulka; godmother of Phyliss Thoene (Bunosky), Mary Chura (Bunosky), the late Peter Bunosky, Lynn Marie Vidra (Vlasko), Angie Koran (Roman), and Robert Bunsey. \r\n \r\nMarried in 1947 to Joe Andrews, she ended her career with Ohio Bell to be a full-time dedicated wife and mother. During her 60+ years in Cleveland, 20 yrs. in Atlanta, Georgia, and 20+ yrs. in Kerrville (a member of Dietert's Take 5 Club), she leaves behind many cherished friendships. \r\n \r\nA lifelong parishioner of her beloved St. Wendelin Parish, Cleveland, Ohio, she was active in protesting its closure and grateful for its reopening. \r\n \r\nElaine, Wilmer and Bounce are blessed and most grateful for the loving care she received over many years from Laura Lozier, Kathy and Jack Corrales, Suzanne Bagnell, Mary Ann Cowdin, and Elaine Kozak. The Family is especially thankful to have Terri Taylor and Peggy Pennell caring for her in her last months, along with Sid Peterson Hospice staff, Kristy Gilmer, Steve Doss, and aides. Without all these special individuals, she would never have lived so happily. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be Monday, August 27, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Wendelin Parish, 2281 Columbus Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44113 with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 AM. A reception in the church rectory will follow. Private interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio. \r\n \r\nThe family requests donations be made to St. Wendelin Parish. \r\n
