Cecil (Buzzy) hunted his last hunt on October 12, 2019 at the age of 77. Cecil was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 29, 1942. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil H. Doolittle and Viola Bennett.\r\n\r\nCecil is survived by his wife, Judy Lantz Doolittle; his sister, Judy Vece and husband John; children, Shane Davis and wife Kristine, Christy Witzel and husband Greg, Tami Nara and husband John, and Chad Davenport and wife Mason; grandchildren, Chase and Zach Nara and Sheyenne, Sterling, Stratton, and Schaeden Davis. Cecil is also survived by his beloved Aunt Jo and Aunt A as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends.\r\n\r\nBefore retiring to Kerrville, Cecil worked many years in the furniture industry. He was a great motivator, manager, and salesman. \r\n\r\nCecil was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and drinking Coors Light (not necessarily in that order). He was a great Husband, Dad, and Grumpers (as he was called by his grandchildren). Cecil loved his dog Lexie and spoiled her rotten. She is going to miss her Dad and the special breakfast he would bring her from McDonald's.\r\n\r\nCecil will be truly missed by all.\r\n\r\nA memorial service will he held on Saturday, October 19th at 10:30 am at the Lighthouse Fellowship Chapel, 195 Roberts St., Harper, Texas. \r\n\r\n
