Carrol Golden

Carrol Dean Golden, age 69 of Kerrville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1947 in Mathis, TX to J.R. Golden Sr. and Mary (Dobie) Golden. \r\n \r\nCarrol was a deputy and retired from the Kerr County Sheriff's Office in 2011. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and loved to play jokes on people. He was of the Methodist faith.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include wife, Bobbie of Kerrville; daughter, D. Nichole Golden Wilson (James) of Kerrville; son, Carrol Dean Golden Jr. (Teresa) of Kerrville; grandson, Jacob Dean Golden; brother in law, David Peters; special niece, Amanda Rust (Carl); and several other nieces and nephews. \r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by a brother, J.R. Golden Jr.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held 10 AM, Friday, November 11, 2016 at Center Point Cemetery officiated by Martin Smith.\r\n \r\nThe family appreciates phone calls and visits from Chuck Brecher, Carroll Schultz, Danny Smith, Danny Sullivan, Jeff Turner and the late Doug DeBravo. \r\n \r\n
