Carolyn Schulte Adamietz was born on March 26, 1949, in Hondo, Texas. Twice a breast cancer survivor in 1987 and 2006, her latest bout with multiple cancers proved to be too much for her, and she died December 23, 2015 in Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband, Raymond Adamietz; her children, Troy Adamietz and Deann Moore; grandaughter, Hayley Moore; sisters, Myrtle Schneider and Ruth Franklin; brothers, Alfred, Jr., Tommy and Charles "Sonny" Schulte, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred, Sr. and Louisa Hartman Schulte; brothers, David and Leroy Schulte as well as her sister, Mary Louise "Mitzi" Mazurek.\r\n\r\nCarolyn worked at West Corporation for 20 years before retiring in February of 2015. Prior to that she worked at the Grey Moss Inn as the office manager for 9 years. She also owned and operated a day care center in Bandera with her niece, Brenda Mayturm for several years in the late 1970's and early 80's.\r\n\r\nShe was a straight shooter when it came to relationships, whether they were personal or business, and she never failed to speak her mind. If you wanted an opinion she was the person to go to because she'd be sure to give it to you; but she was also honest and loyal to a fault, and she held her immediate family close to her heart.\r\n\r\nOne of her favorite past times was to go to Las Vagas with her daughter as often as she could. Las Vegas might miss her as much as she is missed.\r\n\r\nA visitation will be held Sunday, 5:00PM to 7:00PM, December 27, 2015 followed by a Rosary at 7:00PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n\r\nMass will be Monday, 10:00AM, December 28, 2015 at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, interment will follow at the New Catholic Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Terry Mazurek, Bryan Adamietz, Henry Adamietz, Stanley Franklin, Kelly Scott and Michael Moore.
