Carol Lou Whiddon\r\n\r\nCarol Lou Whiddon, age 75, of Pipe Creek, passed away on September 19, 2017 in San Antonio. \r\nShe was born in Houston, Texas to Annie Lou and Rufus Carroll Whiddon on March 3, 1942.\r\nShe Married Richard Whiddon on June 10, 1961 in Sacramento, California.\r\n\r\nCarol was a loving, caring and happy person who even loved her enemies and never met a stranger. Remember her with smiles and laughter.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her parents; brothers in law, Johnny Heins and Garland Lassetter; son, Richard Douglas Whiddon, II who died in 2007.\r\n\r\nCarol is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard; daughter, Cheryl Ann Whiddon Hulsey and husband David; sons widow, Caroline Whiddon; sisters Joanne Heins, Jeanne Lassetter and Sharon Ann Vogel and husband, Gary; grandchildren, James Hulsey and Jade Whiddon. \r\n\r\nA Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Grimes Chapel of Bandera.. Burial will follow at Pipe Creek Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pipe Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.\r\n
