Carlyne Brittain

Carlyne Ann Worthington Brittain, 80, of Medina, Texas, passed away on March 29, 2019, in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Streator, Illinois, to Carlin Ray Worthington and Marie Margaret Brennon Worthington on February 24, 1939. She married Joe Duane Brittain on April 18, 1961, in Brownsville, Texas.\r\n\r\nShe went to school at Harlingen. She worked as a beautician for Frank Joseph Hair Salon, for a number of years before moving to her beloved Hill Country where she worked for Kris Zimmerman River Oaks Beauty Salon. \r\n\r\nCarlyne is preceded in death by Marie Margaret Brennan Worthington, Carlin Ray Worthington, Sandra Worthington, Richard A Roney, and William H. Roney.\r\n \r\nCarlyne is survived by Husband: Joe Duane Brittain Children: Arnold Joseph (Danielle Elaine) Brittain, Wayne Brittain, Machelle Marie Brittain Grandchildren: Tyler (Lindsey) Saunders, Brooke Saunders Great-Grandchildren: Emma Grace Saunders, Owen James Saunders.\r\n\r\nMemorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Medina United Methodist Church with the Pastor Bill Stegemueller of Medina United Methodist Church officiating.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to Medina United Methodist Church.
