Bruce Hilton

Bruce T. Hilton, 86, baptized into Christ's resurrection on August 23, 2017. Bruce was born on March 4, 1931 to Frank and Nelle Hilton. \r\n \r\nBruce graduated from DeLaSalle High School and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 31 years when he retired at the age of 61, moved to Ingram, Texas and started a new career as a CASA volunteer.\r\n \r\nBruce met and married the love of his life, Pat (Banek) on October 4, 1973. They raised four children, Bruce (Kelly) Hilton, Mary (Gerard) Hofmann, Marth Hilton (deceased) and Molly (John) Wyrostek.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his sister, Betty; his loving wife and children; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.\r\n \r\nBruce will be remembered as a man of great faith, humility and kindness.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers or donations, his family requests that you do something kind for a stranger, because that is how Bruce lived his life.\r\n \r\nPrayer Vigil will be held at 6 PM, Monday, August 28, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, 728 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, Texas. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Notre Dame Catholic Church.\r\n \r\n
