Brenda Tooley

Brenda Carole Way Tooley was born on September 23, 1945 in Snyder, Texas to Wynama and Jack Way. Brenda married the love of her life Teddy Tooley, in June of 1968. Brenda and Teddy lived in Kerrville, Texas where they raised their children Rich and Shana. Brenda's love of music and singing enabled her to be a part of her community and church. She sang at many funerals while working at Grimes Funeral Chapels and she often lead worship or sang solos at First Assembly of God in Kerrville and Fredericksburg. Upon Teddy's untimely death, Brenda moved to Dallas-Fort worth in 1989 where she served as an executive secretary for the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. Along the way, at each church that she attended, she continued to lead people into God's presence with the gift of her voice. When she wasn't singing, her greatest joy was being with her family. Brenda passed into eternity on May 10, 2018 in Austin, Texas.\r\n\r\nBrenda was preceded in death by her husband Teddy; her beautiful daughter, Shana Chuculate; her two brothers; her parents; and many other loved ones.\r\n\r\nBrenda leaves behind her son, Rich Tooley and wife Elizabeth; son-in-law, Brian Chuculate; sister, Rea Hopson and husband Kenneth; brothers, David Way and wife Shelia, Tony Way and wife Pam and Johnny Way and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Jake Tooley, Hollie and Nathan Rusche, Sarah Chuculate, Abigail Tooley, Jenna Chuculate, Ella Chuculate and Sydney Chuculate; as well as four great-grandsons and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. \r\n\r\nBrenda Tooley's Celebration of Life Service: \r\nMay 21, 2018 at 11:00 am \r\nCelebration Church \r\n601 Westinghouse Road\r\nGeorgetown, Texas 78626 \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Brenda's honor to: Rich & Elizabeth's Family Journey https://www.gofundme.com/tooleyfamily\r\n
