Booker Davenport, 30, of Bandera, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 4th, 2019 in a Fort Worth Hospital. \r\n\r\nBooker was born on May 20th, 1988, in Grand Prairie, Texas to David and Angela Davenport. His toddler years were spent in Wichita, Kansas, and his elementary years were spent in both Pennsylvania and Texas. In 2002 Booker and his family moved to Bandera permanently. Booker graduated from Bandera High School in 2007.\r\n\r\nBooker was very social. He loved nothing more than spending time with his friends, of which he had many. He enjoyed listening to music, skateboarding, camping, ski trips, road trips, concerts and so on, and he dearly loved his family. He brought positivity to every party and gathering. On May 12th, 2018 Booker became a proud and dedicated father alongside his fiance, Kendra Lantz. They were blessed with a daughter, Ellie Davenport. Above all, Booker cherished nothing more than his time with Ellie. They played, took long walks at the family ranch and danced to his favorite music. \r\n\r\nBooker is survived by daughter Ellie Davenport; fiance Kendra Lantz; mother Angela Davenport and stepfather Mark Cantu; father David and stepmother Jane Davenport; sister Brigitte Reynolds, brother-in-law Michael Reynolds and niece Lilly Reynolds; sister Danielle Davenport; grandparents Helen and Claybourne Davenport; aunt Sue Ann Davenport; uncle and aunt Boone and Eileen Davenport; uncle and aunt Alex and Sara Davenport; cousins April, Wesley, Ronnie, Matthew and Maddie. He was predeceased by his uncle Ron Dendy.\r\n\r\nA viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 from 6-8PM at Grimes Funeral Chapel at 1214 Mulberry Street in Bandera, Texas. There will be no funeral service.
