Bonnie Dodson

Bonnie R. Dodson, age 90 of Kerrville, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was born on August 20, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Charles Harry and Sara GIven Rockey. \r\n\r\nBonnie loved her family, loved to entertain, landscaping her property, and discovering antiques. She had an enduring passion for nature. She was a member of St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Fredericksburg. \r\n\r\nBonnie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Molenaar and husband Kevin of Manchaca, Tx; sons, James R. Dodson of California, and Nicholas F. Dodson and wife Isabelle of Maryland; sister, Catherine "Corky" Rogers of Kerrville; brother, Charles Harry Rockey of Colorado; grandchildren, Lauren Molenaar, Holly Mollenaar, Molly Sarisan, Sarah Dodson, Daniel Dodson, Lori Dodson, Bonnie Sue Dodson, and Neal Babstock; and 8 great-grandchildren. \r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with Father Methodios Ingalls, officiant. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to a local animal charity of your choice.
