Bobby Joe Guidry, age 67, passed away on January 21, 2021 in Llano, Texas. He was born in Austin, Texas to Betty Jo Simmons and Arthur J Guidry on September 26, 1953. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed overseas in Germany in 1971. While active in the Army, he gained his Expert Marksmanship Badge and later earned several trophies in competitions of weapons handling. He received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of Las Moras Lodge #444 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. He also served the citizens of Kinney County as a Constable for many years and retired. \r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Debby Ann Guidry; father, Arthur Guidry and brother, Eugene Guidry.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his sons, Robert John Wyatt Guidry of Bluffton, TX and Calvin Ryan Guidry of Bluffton, TX; his companion, Tina Morelli of Bluffton, TX, step-father, Calvin Moses of Bluffton, TX, mother, Betty J. Simmons of Llano, TX; brother, Jerry Joe Guidry of Bluffton, TX; sister, Cindy Hinesly of Bluffton, TX, dear friends, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wylie, of Brackettville, TX, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Hall, of Brackettville, TX, and the Robinson's family, of Brackettville, TX; as well as many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. \r\n \r\nOn Wednesday, January 27,2021 a viewing will be held at First Baptist Church, in Brackettville, TX, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Graveside Service with full Military Honors and presence of the Patriot Guard Riders will follow at Kinney County Cemetery, Brackettville, TX at noon with Lewis Ray Melton officiating.\r\n\r\nPallbearers are Tom Wylie, Raymond Ryan Robinson, Michael Hall, Jeff Holte, Larry Robinson and Gary Robinson.\r\n\r\nMemorial Contributions may be made to Las Moras Lodge #444 in his honor.\r\n\r\nFuneral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\n
