Billy Wade Heimann, age 66, of Kerrville, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017. He was born on October 6, 1950, in Olney, TX, to William Henry and Marie Aillene Barrington Heimann. On May 9, 1980, he married Mary Ann Peschel in Kerrville. \r\n \r\nBilly proudly served his country in the Army, joining the military in the summer of 1972. He was stationed in Louisiana, Georgia, California, Germany and Texas. While in the military he was a military police officer who trained and used service dogs. He was honorably discharged in December 1979 as the rank of Staff Sergeant. He loved to golf, fish, play cards and dominoes. He also enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas with family and close friends. He worked hard for all his life. His jobs include working for Reichenau Bulldozing, Thomas Electric, Guadalupe Electric, Dealers Electric, Jay Dee's Electric, owner of Heimann's Dump Truck Service and owner/operator/Master Electrician of Heimann Electric. Billy Wade and Mary were members of Zion Lutheran Church. He fought a hard and courageous battle with esophageal and brain cancer. Billy Wade was known for putting others above himself by taking blankets and other medical supplies to patients receiving cancer treatments at Dr. Barrington's office. He loved helping others. He was a very loving husband, dad and granddad and was very proud of his family. He also loved his dogs, Angel, Brandy and Jade. \r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Peschel Heimann of Kerrville; daughter, Rebecca (Bruce) Fisher of Buda; son, Bryan (Michelle) Heimann of Round Rock; sister, Mary Ann (Gary) Willmann of Ingram; brothers, Richard (CeCe) Heimann and Jimmie (Angie) Heimann, both of Kerrville; grandchildren, Hunter Fisher, Garrett Fisher, Kaeli Glasscock, Marie Heimann, and Courtney Heimann; mother-in-law, Dorothy Peschel of Kerrville; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Lloyd) Kneese of Harper and Donna (Danny) Richards of Austin; brothers-in-law, Danny (Darla) Peschel of Kerrville and Joseph D. Peschel of Kerrville; aunts, Margie Barrington of Throckmorton and Connie Barrington of Horse Shoe Bay; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. He was so loved and will be tremendously missed. \r\n \r\nServices will be held 3 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church officiated by Pastor Mike Williams.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society, Zion Lutheran Church, Dietert Claim Center, MD Anderson Care Center or the charity of your choice. \r\n \r\nFly high with the angels Dad and until we meet again...We love you!\r\n
