Remembering Billie\r\n\r\nBillie M. Sotello, 62, of Bandera, TX, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Antonio, TX and raised by Billie & George W. Bennett, Sr. \r\n\r\nBillie moved to Bandera in 2001 and loved the small town living and her ‘office family' at the BanderaCounty office. At one point, she even considered running for JPJudge!She lived life to its fullest through simple pleasures. Billie was a wonderful mother and treasured her family more than anything. She volunteered to be a softball coach for her children, enjoyed playing pool, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Billie had a big heart; she never met a stranger and found joy in welcoming anyone into her home. It brought her happiness that her children's friends called her ‘Momma Billie' and she referred to them as her extended family.Her happy place was spending time at Lake LBJ or Medina Lake and listening to music by KISS, her favorite band.\r\nBillie was strong and a fighter throughout her battle with cancer. Billie's friends& family enjoyed and respected her spunk, dedication, incredible good attitude, and most importantly, her unconditional love for her children.\r\n\r\nBillie is survived by her five children, Jennifer&husband, Mark Beaman, Jamie, Janessa, Jeremy & (Tori), and Jordan&(Chase), sisters, Georgia & husband, Michael Daugherty, Danielle &husband, Tim Allen, brothers Robert & wife,Diane Bennett, Donald & wife, Terri Real, Darrell & wife, Kimberly Real, along with 7 Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Grandchild. \r\n\r\nVisitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 9am - 11am at Grimes Funeral Chapels, 1214 Mulberry, Bandera, TX 78003 followed by a ‘celebration of life' reception at the Bandera County Park, pavilion #1. \r\n\r\nBillie's family wishes to extend our sincere thank you to her ‘second family' at her place of employment,Bandera, County along with the doctors and staff at Texas Oncology, and the countless friends that supported her through her battle.\r\n\r\nBillie adored animals; in lieu of flowers, donations are welcome toCowboy Capital Pet Assistance League (CCPAL) Donate online:http://ccpal.info/donate/ or send donations to CCPAL, 6570 FM1283, Pipe Creek, TX 78063 (in memory of Billie Sotello).\r\n
