Billie Barbara Vann Hall passed away and went to be with her loving husband, T.D., on January 16th in Kerrville, Texas. She was born, the youngest of 4 girls, in Mercedes, Texas to William Walter Vann and Agnes Gabrielle (nee: Tacquard) on February 13th, 1929. When she was 5 years old, her family moved to Kerrville where they lived in the Bluebonnet Hotel until they purchased a house, which is now the Kerr County Historical Center. She attended Tivy High School, where she graduated as Valedictorian in 1947 and was the drum majorette of the Tivy Antlerettes. After high school, she attended the University of Texas. She eloped to Mexico to marry her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Thomas Dee (T.D.) Hall on February 7th, 1948. They were inseparable and happily married for 58 years, until he passed away in 2006. \r\n \r\nShe loved being a rancher's wife and was an avid quilter who left many treasures for her family and friends to enjoy. Each one of her quilts and wall hangings were hand stitched and quilted with love. She also loved to cook and bake and enjoyed feeding anyone who was lucky enough to put their feet under her table. \r\n \r\nShe was a Charter Member of the Hill Country Quilt Guild and served as a past president, a member of the Southwest Cattle Raisers Association, a Life Member of the Texas Game Warden Association, Former Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mountain Home VFD, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Kerrville. She also served several terms as President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Cowboy Camp Meeting. She also was a reserve officer for Kerr County Sheriff's Office.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, T.D. Hall, her parents William Walter and Gabrielle Vann and 3 sisters, Gabrielle (Gay) Colquitt, Estelle Callcott, and Elizabeth (Bebe) Vann and many other loved ones. \r\n \r\nShe cherished her family, and they her. She is survived by her 4 children, William Thomas (Tommy) Hall and wife, Debbie, Walter (Lee) Hall and Fran Lane, Susan Dee Storey and husband, Dean, and Travis Corry (T.C.) Hall, and wife, Sally, all of Mountain Home, Texas. Her 8 Grandchildren Howard Hall of Mountain Home, Texas, Eric Hall and Wife, Kim, of Denton, Texas, Melinda Gleinser and Husband, John, of Junction, Texas, Mark Hall and Wife, Anna, of Idalou, Texas, Curt Storey and Wife, Julie, of San Angelo, Texas, Christopher Storey and Wife, Katie, of San Antonio, Texas, Emily Bonvino and Husband, Craig, of Mountain Home, Texas, D.C. Hall and Wife, Alyssa, of Big Wells, Texas. 12 Great Grandchildren Westin Dee Hall, Whitney Hall, Kinsley Hall, Thomas Gleinser, Riley Dee Hall, Megan Hall, Ellie Storey, Hudson Storey, Cason Storey, Rylan Storey, Travis Bonvino, Elisabetta (Bebe) Bonvino and 2 more on the way that will be here early this year. 1 Great-Great Grandchild, Barrett Dee Hall. Also, special family members, Mary Jane Hey of San Angelo, Texas and Aaron Beesley of Mountain Home. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 3-5 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held 10 AM, Monday, January 22, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. A private family burial will be held at the Hall Family Cemetery. \r\n \r\nPallbearers will be her grandchildren. \r\n \r\nMemorials may be made in her honor to the Divide Volunteer Fire Department (PO Box 259, Mountain Home, Texas 78058, (830) 640-3140), First United Methodist Church of Kerrville (321 Thompson Dr, Kerrville, TX 78028, (830) 257-0800), Junction Volunteer Fire Department (102 N 5th St, Junction, TX 76849, (325) 446-2345), and to Peterson Hospice (1121 Broadway, Kerrville, TX 78028 (830) 258-7799). \r\n
