Bill Mccoy

W.A. 'Bill' McCoy, 93, of Bandera, passed away on October 1, 2016 in a care facility located in Bandera. He was born in Waco, Texas to Ella and Emmett McCoy on November 11, 1922. He married Jeanette Kramer on July 12, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois.\r\n\r\nBill was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He was one of the "Greatest Generation." He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps during WWII.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his sisters, Vila McCoy Reed and Colleen McCoy Johnson.\r\n\r\nBill is survived by his wife, Jeanette Kramer McCoy; daughter, Virginia McCoy; sons, Gary Eugene McCoy and Curtis Richard McCoy; nephew, Elbert Reed; and several grandchildren.\r\n\r\nIn keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no services.\r\n\r\nFuneral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.
