Bill Beard

W. C. 'Bill' Beard passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the age of 83. He was born September 2, 1934 in Santa Anna, Texas, to LeRoy and Venita Jo Beard, deceased. He is the third child of three, brother David Beard-deceased and sister Frances Beard Baldwin-deceased. Bill beard is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Burrus Beard and his four daughters, who were his sons while ranching in Mt. Home: Karel Juanice Beard Grona of Harper, Texas, Kimberly Ruth Beard Chambers of Mt. Home, Texas, Vicky Beth Beard Duecker of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Edlena Jo Beard Schoolcraft of Dale, Texas and their spouses, Boyce Grona, Larry Duecker, and Charles Schoolcraft. Bill Beard had 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Harper Cemetery. \r\n \r\nInstead of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Harper Community Cemetery, Harper Volunteer Fire/EMS Service, or the Harper School Library.\r\n
