Betty Rinehart passed away at home on April 16 at the age of 97. She grew up in Nebraska and moved to Pomona, California where she worked in the banking industry.\r\n \r\nBetty and her husband, Claire, lived in Chino, California for 55 years, where she was well known in the area for training and showing her Chihuahuas in AKC Obedience trials well into her 80's.\r\n \r\nSkip, as she was known, was predeceased by her husband, G. Claire Rinehart, and two infant daughters.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by daughter, Maridee Rinehart (Roger Butzen); granddaughter, Joanne Eastis Diffenderfer (Robin); and great-grandson, Kyle Goss.\r\n \r\nSpecial thanks to Peterson Hospice, Caring Senior Service and especially to her caregiver, Brittany Smith.\r\n \r\nInterment will be at Pomona Valley Memorial Park in Pomona, California.
