Bettie Peters

Bettie M Peters, 74, of Bandera, passed away on November 21, 2015 in San Antonio. She was born in Bandera, Texas to Clara and James Duff, Sr., on March 13, 1941. She Married Edward R. Peters on March 8, 1963 in Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\nBettie went to school at Bandera High School and was a member of the 1959 graduating class. She attended Business College in San Antonio and went on work at Gross National Bank in San Antonio, Texas. She also worked for the Bandera Independant Schoold District for 18 years as secretary to the superintendant. Bettie was also an avid reader and enjoyed the benefits of a green thumb with many well tended house plants.\r\n\r\nBettie is preceded in death by her mother, Clara; father, Dennis and sister, Lenora Duff.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward Peters; sons, Brian Peters of Bandera and Kenneth Peters of Pipe Creek; brother, James Duff and wife, Margaret; nieces, Dorothy Browning and Cami Culver; nephew, Dennis Duff.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 27, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Bandera Cemetery with Mr. Martin Smith officiating.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Arlan Habenicht, James Herrera, Bobby Preston, Bill Lynn, Kelly Scott and Early Deane.
