Barbara Robinson

Barbara Sue Robinson, 71 of Bandera, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Thursday, February, 22, 2018. Barbara was born October 30, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Frank and Lorena Mae Ensslin. Barbara married the love of her life, Ronald Robinson on May 5, 1967. \r\n\r\nThey lived in Corpus Christi, where she worked at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, until they moved to the Hill Country to be houseparents at Medina Children's Home. During her time as a Housemother, she was loved and adored by many of the children she was involved with, even long after she was there. She also worked at the VA Hospital in Kerrville as an Administrative Coordinator and Research Assistant. Barbara loved to sing, craft, playing games and cook but mostly she loved doing anything that involved spending quality time with her family. She loved and trusted the Lord and raised her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to do the same. While she will be missed more than ever, because we all know Christ, we know where she has gone and that we will absolutely see her again!\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Lorena Mae Ensslin, her son, Kyle Robinson, her brother, Larry Ensslin. \r\n\r\nBarbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Ron Robinson; her daughters, Michelle Davis and Laryssa Richter; her sister, Carly Ensslin-MacNeil; her grandchildren, Courtney Miller, Chellby Richter, Coltin Davis, and Lela Bradshaw; great grandchildren, Kadein Miller, Carter Miller, Joshua Miller and Juddah Miller; along with numerous other loving family and friends.\r\n\r\nA Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapel, Bandera, Texas.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
