Barbara Morrow

Barbara Sabins Morrow died on July 6, 2017 in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Houston on August 19, 1939. Barbara grew up in Kerrville and married Jerry Jackson early in life and they had three children together. At age 23 Barbara returned to Kerrville with her children. Barbara worked several years at Charles Schreiner Bank and as a vice president of Hill Country Savings. Barbara married Ted Morrow in 1966 and together they raised her children through their high school years. Barbara and Ted went their separate ways in 1979 and she moved to Houston and then settled in the San Antonio where she met her soul mate, Robert O'Connor. They founded and operated a successful freight delivery service for 25 years. After Robert's death Barbara returned to Kerrville and spent the last years of her life in the home she grew up in. \r\n \r\nBarbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Elizabeth Sabins, and her sister Sheila Beth Sabins, who died in a car accident at the age of 16. \r\n \r\nBarbara is survived by her children and their spouses, Connie Jackson Carley and husband Dave, Ronald Jackson and wife Robin, Dean Jackson and wife Susan, and by her six grandchildren, Shea, Jackson, Cole, Sterling, Dalton and Claire.\r\n \r\nFuneral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to For the Love of Christi, http://christicenter.org, a grief counseling organization originally established to help children after the death of a loved one.
