Barbara June Feil, 89, formerly of Kerrville passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 in Plano, Texas. \r\n\r\nBarbara was born March 25, 1930 in Sunnyside, Washington, to Ralph Barnes and Emily (Rodman) Barnes. Growing up, Barbara created many cherished memories with her older sister Elizabeth (Betty) and her grandmother Ada (Haney) Rodman. \r\n\r\nOn July 10, 1948 she married Richard Feil at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois. Together they enjoyed a lifelong passion for traveling and learning until his death in 2012. Barbara sewed many intricate square-dancing outfits for their adventures on the dance floor. She shared her love of music by encouraging her sons to take piano lessons. In later years, she spent many hours listening to her carefully curated iTunes library. Barbara was well-known for her kindness, particularly to children and animals, and her collection of teddy bears. Her family was always her top priority. \r\n\r\nBarbara is survived by her sons Michael Bruce Feil (Dana) of Reston, Virginia and David Paul Feil (Amanda) of Coppell, Texas; her grandchildren Margaret Feil (fiancé Dean), Robert Feil (Theresa), and Cameron Feil.
