\r\n Barbara Sue Broadway, 76, of Kerrville, peacefully took the Lord's hand on February 21, 2015. She was born in North Zulch, Texas to Edgar Reed and Alma Corley Broadway on February 27, 1938.\r\n Barbara Sue lived a charmed life growing up in Madisonville and graduated from Madisonville High School in 1955. She then attended the University of Texas graduating in 1959. Affectionately called "Scootie" while at the University, Barbara Sue was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and made many life long friends during her time there.\r\n Barbara Sue began working in Houston upon graduation. She was also a teacher at Sharpstown High School, business owner and real estate agent for Kerrville Realty. Her proudest achievement was going back to school mid-life and obtaining her Master's degree to become a licensed professional counselor. It brought her great joy to help others in their time of need. One of Barbara Sue's passions was to travel and she did, world-wide throughout her lifetime.\r\n Barbara Sue was a member of Texas Exes, Hill Country Professional Counselors Association, Executive Women's Club of Kerrville and First United Methodist Church of Kerrville.\r\n Barbara Sue is preceded in death by her parents; Edgar Reed and Alma Corley Broadway, and Richard T. Bernard, PhD., father of her children.\r\n Ms. Broadway is survived by her children; Belinda Bernard Pruneda (Joe) and Michael Reed Bernard Minter and wife, Kyra. She is also survived by four granddaughters; Corley Catherine Pruneda, Maria Belinda Pruneda, Ashlee Minter Stanson (Daniel) and Madison Riley Minter. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; Ellie Grace and Lillian Faith Stamson.\r\n Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24th at First United Methodist Church of Kerrville with Pastor Phillip Hoeflinger officiating.
