Baby March

Baby Ray "PoPo" March, 84, of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio. He was born July 6, 1934 in Tyler, Texas to Garland and Leona March. \r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna March; sister, Inez Hampton; and brothers, Roy James March, Bearl March, and Nathaniel March of Dallas. \r\n\r\nBaby Ray and Edna were married on August 4, 1984 in Kerrville. Ray loved fishing and playing his guitar and most of all, spoiling his grandchildren. He joined the Army before working 41 years at the Inn of the Hills.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include sons, Tremayne Dimery of Kerrville, Thirman Dimery and wife Michelle of College Sation, Malcom March and wife Shirley of Arizona; daughters, Trenissa Brown of Kerrville, Joyce Ward and husband Don of Fort Worth; siblings, Jewel Wren of Kerrville, Bobbie E. Hampton of Dallas, Leora March of Austin; 14 grandchildren, Preston, Layton, McKenzie Dimery, Turner, Aislynn, Antonella Brown, Emery, Ysenia Velasquez, Candace, Elise Rodriguez, Andrea March, Arelia Ward, Shakena Ward, Don Ward Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\r\n\r\nServices will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Lois Shaw. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories North Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Layton Dimery, Preston Dimery, Turner Jack Brown IV, Eric Armelin, Terrance Davis and Anthony Sivils.\r\n\r\nHonorary pallbearers will be Darnell Baldwin, Clarence Edmonds, Lonny Williams, Willie Woodard Jr., Wayne Woodard and Yarann Davis.\r\n
