Audie McCool Godfrey went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 26th 2019 at 12:31 P.M.\r\nwith the love and comfort of being in his parents' arms. He was cared for with the deepest\r\ncompassion by PICU nurses and doctors at North Central Baptist hospital in San Antonio,\r\nTexas.\r\nAudie was born to Amanda Carol Godfrey and Logan Matthew Godfrey on November 24th,\r\n2017 at 6:40 A.M. in their home. The first touch he ever felt was his Daddy's loving hands. As\r\nsoon as Audie opened his eyes, he opened his heart to all he met. The way he expressed his\r\nlove was truly special and could be felt by all. From him giving you warm hugs, to him just sitting\r\nin your lap asking you to read an upside down book, you could always feel the love he had for\r\nyou. He adored his older brother Jubal and could usually be found a few steps behind him,\r\nlearning all Jubal had to teach him. He loved going for nature walks with his Mama and doing\r\nexercises with her and Jubal, but was never afraid to let you know that enough was enough. He\r\nwas a redhead, like his Mama, and despite his sweet and loving demeanor, he occasionally\r\nreminded you of the temper that goes with those ginger locks. He loved playing with his Daddy\r\non the floor and crawling on him while they read or pushed toy cars around. Audie was every bit\r\nas brave and fearless as his namesakes. One of his favorite words to say was "watch" as he\r\ndemonstrated his newest trick.\r\nHe is forever held and cherished in the hearts of his parents, Logan and Amanda Godfrey, his\r\nbrother, Jubal Godfrey, his Grandparents Michelle and Douglas Godfrey and Carol and Don\r\nDugan, his four legged best friend Jocko, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He has\r\nbeen welcomed in Heaven by his Grandpa Brown, and Great Grandpa McCool.
