Lopez and David Garcia.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include his wife, Mary R. Pruneda; daughter, Isabel Lopez, Consuelo Dominguez (Ramon), Minnie Garcia, Carmen Woerner (Dwight); one sister, Cipriana Pruneda; sisters-in-law, Frances Pruneda, Olivia Pruneda and Estella Pruneda; grandchildren, Loranzo Lopez Jr. (Mary Ann), Alfonso Lopez (Christy), Debra Badeaux (Donald II), Tobie Garza (Wendy), Amber Rodriguez, Cylinda Dominguez (Raymond), Christy Dominguez (Mando), Tony Pruneda, Rae Lopez (Alberto), Silberia Peckman, David Garcia Jr. (Josie), Eric and Cruz Garcia, Kayla Hodges and Candence Woerner; 25 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews that he loved.\r\n \r\nAntonio was a hard worker. He learned all of his traits from his father including shearing sheep, and breaking broncos. He was one of the last real cowboy ranch hands and a pioneer of Kerrville. He worked on ranches for the Priours, Reals, and Perils. He worked for Edmond Drilling Company for many years, and worked for Fred Tally as a custodian - the children loved him. He also worked for Quality Ready Mix, for Howard Eagelbar, then worked for Mr. Eagelbar as a ranch hand until Mr. Eagelbar died. He went on and worked for Mr. Cade Schwethelm, ranching for many years. He finally retired.\r\n \r\nHe loved to dance and enjoyed family gatherings. His entering a party or dance was "Hey Chaperal" or "Hey Yippy Yi Yay." My dad was loved by many. He was a server of God, always helping others. Dad loved special family gatherings. One special time was when we all processed deer and pig to make sausage. The purpose was to see all his family. There was never a dull moment even when we had a falling out, guess who won? Dad loved watching cowboy movies, especially, Gunsmoke, Rifleman and John Wayne movies. His cowboy hat was very special to him. Our dad was our root, support, and counselor. He showed us how to respect, love and especially to always give the Lord thanks. He also taught us to work hard, never give up, follow your dreams and remember that God is big. If you do wrong, keep on going and don't let that stop you. If you do well, pat yourself on the shoulder, but give the Lord thanks always, and don't think it was that easy. You were scolded and given a big speech to set you back on track. Well, Daddy, this is our last goodbye. May you be welcome with angels and flowers for we know you will because you were a grand man.\r\n \r\nSpecial thanks to River City Hospice and River Hills Health & Rehab nurses Nancy, Asley, Irene, Joyce, Izzy, Tammy, Jim, Brendon, Jesse, Billy and staff and all the other nurses that made our father comfortable. A very special thank you to the administrator who made Dad very special.\r\n \r\nRosary will be at 6 PM, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nMass will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Alberto Colin as celebrant.
