Anthony "Tony" Wayne Powell, 60, of Bandera, passed away on November 16, 2016 at his home.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be at 2pm on Monday, November 21 at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera \r\nServices will follow at 3pm on Monday November 21, at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera, Texas with Rev. Martin Young officiating. Graveside services are to be at 1pm Wednesday November 23 at Breckenridge Cemetery in Breckenridge, Texas under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. \r\n \r\nTony was born in Dallas to Wanda and Richard Powell on March 30,1956. He graduated from Kilgore College. He worked as a Petroleum Engineer for over 35 years for many companies such as Sun Oil, Oryx Energy, Kerr-McGee, and Anadarko. \r\n \r\nTony is preceded in death by his parents. \r\nHe is survived by his son Richard Powell and his wife, Sarah of Corpus Christi, Texas. Son, Bryan Powell, of Hobbs, New Mexico. And daughter, Tinnie Engle, of Gilmer, Texas. Sister, Gina and Tommy Upshaw of Rusk,Texas and brother, Dan and Tracy Powell of Dallas, Texas. 3 grandsons Lance, Blane and Toryn. As well as 3 granddaughters, Mackenzie, Hadlee and Scarlett.
