Anthony "Tony" Francis Krueger Jr., 72 of Ingram, TX, passed away peacefully at the Audie Murphy Hospital in San Antonio, Texas on Monday, April 11, 2016. Tony was born November 14, 1943 to Willadean and Anthony Krueger Sr. He lived most of his life in Mercedes, TX. \r\n \r\nTony was a proud, passionate man who enjoyed teaching those who were around and serving others. He worked as a decorated officer in the U.S. Army, as well as a teacher and an irrigation specialist. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking dinner on the barbeque pit, including such events as the 4H Wild Game Dinner and the Bank of the Hills Annual Chili Christmas. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.\r\n \r\nTony was extremely loving and proud of his wife, Jackie Alma Wahrmund, also of Ingram; his children, Katherine Valascruz, David and wife, Amori Krueger, Dustin and wife, Naomi Krueger, Amanda Gensman and husband, Brince Abel, Virginia and husband, Adam Engel, Lisa Raper, Lloyd Raper III, Lisa and husband, Paul Silvestri and Danny and wife, Deanna Costello; grandchildren, Mason Engel, Kadence Abel, Lauren Engel, Hana Engel, Kassidy Abel, Noah Krueger, Ethan Krueger, Jake, Shannon, Marley, Bret and Will Silvestri, Kainona, Emma, Brennon, Caydon and Connor Costello; as well as his many nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nTony was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Willadean Krueger.\r\n \r\nServices are set for 2 PM, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Four Square Gospel Church, followed by a Pot Luck Dinner.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tony Krueger's GoFundMe account or to Kerr County 4H Club.\r\n \r\n
