She was always welcoming with a warm smile and an extended hand to help and comfort. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, antiques, crafting, crocheting, bible study and community service. She also had a gift of creativity and enjoyed making beautiful things for everyone around her. At holiday meals the family was always spoiled with her homemade recipes. While there are too many to list a few that instantly come to mind are her cinnamon sweet rice and Granny's fudge. She was a devoted and active member of the First Baptist Church in Bandera.\r\n\r\nThere are not enough words to explain the life or achievements she accomplished during her 86 years. However, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her by showing us endless compassion and love, her marriage to her husband Bob of 66 years and her ever steadfast belief and faith in Jesus Christ. \r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to the Bandera First Baptist Church Building Fund.
