Anna Hollimon

Anna Lee Hollimon, age 91 of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 in a local care center. She was born March 11, 1925 in Tuff, TX to Alfred Stanley Keese and Julia Edna (Howard) Keese. On April 1, 1942, she married Walter Lee Hollimon in Edna, TX. \r\n \r\nAnna was in the banking business for 34 years. After retirement, she moved back to Kerrville. She had been a resident of Kerrville since 1987 and was a prior resident of San Antonio. \r\n \r\nAnna loved cooking, fishing and traveling, and was of the Methodist faith. \r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Hollimon on April 30, 1987; and a sister, Edna Julia Noles.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by sons, James Alfred Hollimon and wife, Carroll of LaGrange, TX and Howard Ray Hollimon and wife, Shirley of Kerrville; sisters, Laura Jean Holliman Whitehead of Medina and Billie Louise Suthard of Denton, TX; grandchildren, Erik, Lisa and Angie; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 4-6 PM, Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held 10 AM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at West Prong Cemetery in Medina.
