Ann Lee Sjogren, 75, of Boerne, Texas passed away on June 2, 2021. She was born in Miami, Florida to Klaus and Kathryn Sjogren on August 29, 1945. She went to school at Hialeah High School in Hialeah, Florida. She graduated from Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Ann was a trailblazer working as an art director in print and television at McCann - Erikson Advertising Agency in the 1970's. She won the top award for a television commercial produced for the Miller Brewing Company. This Christmas Spot commercial is one of the longest running commercials in the history of television. Ann also designed the Bahamas Goombay logo that is still in use today by the Bahamian Tourist Association. Ann loved to play tennis, ski, hike, paint, practice yoga, and was a movie buff. Her wry sense of humor was always mixed with a blend of compassion for all beings. Ann was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her two sisters Karen S. Donaldson and Kathryn A. Sjogren, niece Ann K. Riederer, and nephews Klaus Kneale, Kyle Kneale and Kristofer Kneale. A Memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
