Andres Guardiola, age 83, of Kerrville, passed away on November 6, 2014 in Kerrville. He was born in Ozona, Texas to Constancia Gomez and Ignacio Guardiola on November 16, 1930. He married Vivian Umbaugh on October 30, 1981 in Twin Falls, Idaho.\r\n \r\nHe went to school in Kerrville and was a man of many traits. He was a veteran of the Korean War, Vietnam and served in the Army. He was involved in the American Legion and enjoyed a cold beer.\r\n \r\nAndres is preceded in death by his mother, Constancia Gomez; father, Ignacio Guardiola; wife, Vivian Guardiola; son, Florentino; daughter, Vivian; sisters, Mary Venezuela and Blanca Valdez; and brother, Ignacio Guardiola.\r\n \r\nAndres is survived by daughters, Irene Ontiveros and Connie Guardiola; son, Andy Guardiola; grandchildren, Vanessa North, Frankie Ortega, Antonio Ontiveros, Santiago Alcorta; and a great granddaughter, Lillie North.\r\n \r\nA gathering will be at 6 PM, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 117 George Muck Drive in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 10AM , Thursday November 13, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Antonio Ontiveros, Eusebio Ontiveros, Jeff Masse, Jacob Reyes, Oscar Limon, Jimmy Alcorta and Brandon Limon.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given in memory of Andres at 117 George Muck Drive, Kerrville, Texas 78028.\r\n \r\nThe family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Hospice.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
