Amber Nichole Ashlaw, a loving mother and daughter, cherished sister, and dear friend, passed away on September 16, 2023, in Bandera, Texas. Born on June 28, 1989, in Raleigh, North Carolina, Amber lived a life filled with love, compassion, and inspiration. She was 34 years old at the time of her passing. To all those who knew Amber, knew she was a generous person full of kindness for all humanity. She loved unconditionally regardless of life's challenges. Amber's interests were as diverse as she was beautiful. She had a green thumb and found solace in the art of gardening, nurturing vibrant blooms, and creating serene spaces. She loved art, painting and viewing art. One of her greatest joys was spending quality time with her Mom, enjoying movie nights and engaging in heartfelt conversations through phone calls and Facetime. She held her boys and family close to her heart and treasured the moments she shared with them. Amber loved her boys and protected them fiercely. Amber had a special bond with animals, recognizing the unique and unconditional love they bring into our lives and was a dog groomer. Amber is survived by her beloved sons, Beckham Ashlaw, Kennedy Lester, and Kai Lester, who were the light of her life. She leaves behind a supportive and caring family that includes her parents, Kimberly and Rodney Martin, Grandmother, JoAnn Price, brothers Ryan Brantley, Jason Denton (Veronica), Anthony Wrenn (Diana), Rusty Martin (Aeriale), Chris Martin (Pamela), sisters Tammy Brantley, Hailey Brantley, Krista Brantley, Lauren Martin (Logan), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. In the embrace of eternity, Amber joins her beloved father, Keith Brantley, grandparents, Gus Brantley, Amanda Brantley, and Ray Price. Their spirits will forever watch over the family they hold dear. The memory of Amber's vibrant spirit and unwavering love will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her zest for life and dedication to her loved ones will forever remain etched in our hearts. A Celebration of Life to honor Amber's beautiful journey will take place at a later date, reserved for family and close friends. As a tribute to her compassionate nature and the causes she held dear, we kindly ask attendees to wear purple in support of domestic violence awareness. Amber Nichole Ashlaw may no longer be with us in person, but her impact on our lives will continue to shine brightly. Amber will forever be remembered for her kind heart, her love for friends and family, and her unwavering dedication to those she held dear. May her soul find eternal peace, may her light shine through her son's eyes and may her memory serve as a guiding light for us all. Amber's light may have dimmed, but her legacy continues to shine on through the lives of her young boys who she loved more than life itself. The funds raised will be dedicated solely to the education and well-being of these three extraordinary boys. We firmly believe that by investing in their education, we can provide them with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in life and reach for their dreams.
