Alva Pearson

Alva "Joyce" Pearson, 81 of Kerrville, stepped into Heaven Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1937 in San Antonio to Eddie Hubert Austin and Janette Mights Austin. On April 19, 1953, she married Irvin Carl Pearson.\r\n\r\nIn 1951, she asked Jesus into her heart. Joyce was an owner and operator of Around the Clock Daycare Center, Love of God Daycare Center and Vari-Care Daycare in Kerrville and Ingram.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sons, Carl Ray Pearson, Billy David Pearson and Brian Keith Pearson; grandson, Billy Wayne Pearson; and brother, Teddy Jack Austin.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include daughters, Penny Kay Pearson Britza, Diana Pearson, Debi Pearson, Linda Pearson and Cindy Pearson; sons, Jimmy Dewayne Pearson and Ian Britza; sister, Iris LaVerne Clements; brother, Jerald Eugene Austin; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nServices will be held 3 PM, Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Ian Britza. Interment will follow at Camp Verde Cemetery. \r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Grant Pearson, Duston Cox, Shawn Pearson, Jeremiah Pearson, Jordan Pearson and Nathan Barnett.\r\n\r\n
