Alta Morris

Alta N. Morris\r\n\r\nAlta N. Morris, 82, of Pipe Creek, passed away on September 12, 2018 in San Antonio. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Thomas H. and Adella Cooper on November 28, 1935. She married Raymond D. Morris on December 23, 1951.\r\n\r\nAlta was a loving wife and mother. She helped her husband for many years with the clerical responsibilities of their family business. She was also an active member of St. Stanilaus Catholic Church in Bandera.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Morris and her daughter Lori.\r\n\r\nAlta is survived by her 8 children and their spouses; brother Jim Connell; 22 grandchildren and 44 great- grandchildren. \r\n\r\nA Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapel of Bandera followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM the same day.\r\n\r\nA Mass will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Bandera. Interment to follow at Pipe Creek Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Leroy Brown, Patrick Raab, Lawson Arnett, Jason Morris, Adam Alanis and Jason Weatherby. Honorary Pallbearers are Gunnar Brown, Gage Brown and Everett Raab.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Society in care of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
